OUR PROCUREMENT STRATEGY
COVENTYA purchases goods and services in the high double-digit million € range from over 400 suppliers in around 20 countries at 14 purchasing locations.
What you can expect from us
In addition to internationally competitive prices, a stable supply chain, transparent communication and continuous development, we regard it as one of our responsibilities to collaborate with suppliers who are as sustainability-minded as we are.
Thus price and quality are not the only selection criteria for our suppliers, we also ensure that their ethical, social and ecological standards meet COVENTYA’s Supplier Code of Conduct. We value long-term relationships and honor a trustworthy behavior regardless of the difficulties markets feature from time to time.
What we expect from you
We expect you to adhere to our ethical standards as described above. We systematically evaluate all major suppliers according to these standards and perform regular audits to ensure this principle.
COVENTYA also monitors supplier’s sources for conflict minerals, such as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold, to ensure that they do not stem from conflict regions. We do this to make sure that these minerals do not find their way into our products by the supply chain.
