Blue/Iridescent Trivalent Passivate for Alkaline Zinc
LANTHANE 317 is a versatile blue or thick film passivate with cobalt for zinc surfaces in barrel and rack applications. LANTHANE 317 provides excellent corrosion resistance which can be further improved with a FINIGARD top-coat. The aspect of the surface with top coat is either uniform blue or iridescent depending on the operating parameters.
LANTHANE 317 works on the basis of trivalent chromium and contains cobalt compounds. Brightness and colour of the passivated parts are very stable.
